HISTORY

Endeavor was founded in 2001 by professional snowboarder Max Jenke and Transworld senior photographer Scott Serfas. Endeavor was born out of a desire to do things differently. To make snowboarding less complicated. To be more focussed on the rider. To create products that worked without any of the gimmicks.

Our products are designed and prototyped in Vancouver, BC and are distinctly Canadian. With Cypress Mountain, Grouse Mountain, Seymour Mountain and Whistler-Blackcomb sitting on our doorstep we ensure all of our products are tested right where they will be used. We ride 50+ days a season and have more than 75 years experience in the snowboard industry between us.

We have been doing things differently since 2001. Our mission is to continue doing things the way we want to, for the benefit of all snowboarders. We are snowboarders making snowboards for snowboarders and we will Always Endeavor.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, our office is a small team of just 7 people. Based in the heart of the city's design district we have a view of the local mountains and a constant eye on the weather. Office rules? More than 30cm overnight and we'll meet at the peak!

We are detail oriented designers, art lovers, fashion enthusiasts, music addicts, free thinkers but above all; we are snowboarders.

A Brief History of Endeavor

The first Endeavor logo was designed to signify our position in the snowboard industry. The boy with the tree showed that we were new to the game but ready to nurture and grow. This is still one of our favourite logos.

The future font was the result of playing around with different type and was designed to show the progressing, new ideas and innovations that we were bringing to the industry.

In 2004 we combined the original tree symbolism with our new logo and the E in our future font logo sprouted its first branches, giving life to the first e-tree logo

In 2005 the e-tree grew larger and became our main focus. It highlighted the brand we were striving to be by combining our original growing tree design and our futuristic direction.

In 2006 we simplified our logo with a basic, clean font type to match the the e-tree logo and our design driven direction.

We continued to move with the times whilst also forging our own unique path. This gave birth to the statement logo. We are and always will be Endeavor Snowboard Design.

In 2010 we were working with a number of big artists for graphics on our snowboards. This included a number of graffiti artists and our logo evolved to match.

In 2011 we stacked the logo giving us two versions to fit on both boards and our growing apparel and accessory ranges.

In 2013 we updated our logo to showcase a brand new image. This was our biggest redesign in the logo since the original tree in 2002. The new flag retained the most important part - the e-tree and gave a bold new look to Endeavor.

In 2017 we celebrate our 15th year as Endeavor Snowboards. There have been ups and downs, challenges that we have overcome and trials that we have had to adapt to.
